Teach Your Kids Confidence & Self-Expression with Choulala Box

Katie Rose Cronin
In the frantic morning hustle, it’s easy to see why so many parents opt for dressing their kids, just to get on with the day. But self-dressing is more than a simple task of adding/removing clothes. There are emotional benefits attached to finding the time and patience when kids dress themselves.

This is NOT a subscription box...

Choulala Box is rather a curated, fashion box that delivers the latest, on trend children’s clothing, right to your door.

Kids & Parents Work Together!

You can either (1) take a style match-maker quiz or (2) build your own box, using the BLAST™ Method (that stands for Bottoms, Layers, Accessories, Shoes/Socks & Tops), a fool proof technique covering the 5 basics of any wardrobe that can empower kids to dress themselves each morning, aka, one less battle to deal with!

Handpicked for each season, Choulala believes that less is more!

The clothes are carefully selected for maximum versatility, so kids can wear them in whatever combinations strike their fancy.
Let’s get real, kids don't need more clothes, they need quality, versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched to create a multitude of style possibilities.

Psychologists & parenting experts agree that self-dressing is a big milestone.

Kids learn motivation and independence, including: fine motor skills (via buttons/zips/buckles), gross motor skills (balancing and coordinating arms and legs) cognitive skills (the sequence that clothes go on), linguistics (learning different types of clothes, colors and sizes) and time perception (coordinating right pieces for varying weather conditions).

They've just released a new card deck, designed to cultivate confidence.

The BLAST flash cards are designed to educate on wardrobe basics & also to guide kids of all ages through the art of self-dressing to inspire confidence, self-expression and independence.
Our personal favorite theme in the deck are the Empowerment cards that contain phrases and tips that guide your little ones in dressing and expressing themselves.

The Choulala Story

As a working mom of two, Rola Amer found no time to shop for her kid’s wardrobe needs at traditional retailers and she couldn’t find any one online retailer that could help simplify the process of what her kids needed each season.
That is why she founded Choulala Box and the BLAST Method.

When kids know how to create outfits each day, they literally have a BLAST!
